Our Mission

CoreData Research is a passionate advocate of sustainability. We believe we have a duty to help make the world a more sustainable and greener place. And we believe the financial community can, and must, contribute to the fight against climate change - the single biggest issue impacting our planet.

As part of our sustainability agenda, we have partnered with EcoMatcher to launch a tree planting project. Through the initiative, CoreData owns a number of forests around the world. And we are now giving survey respondents the opportunity to adopt trees in Guatemala or the Philippines.

Why Participate?

Forests play a critical role in combating climate change because they absorb and store carbon dioxide which is the main cause of global warming. Trees also play a key part in protecting biodiversity and reversing the devastating impact of deforestation and desertification caused by human activities.

On average, a tree in CoreData Forest sequesters 50 pounds of carbon dioxide per year

Furthermore, tree planting supports local farmers in less developed economies and helps unlock private resources through promoting partnership

The importance of trees cannot be overstated. Indeed, tree planting helps meet a number of the U.N.'s Sustainable Development Goals including climate change, life on land, inequality and partnerships.

So planting trees really can help protect our planet and make it a healthier, safer and fairer world for future generations to come. But we also know that solving the climate crisis requires collective and mass action. The more people that join the fight and the more trees that get planted the more we can make a real difference

And this requires positive action rather than passive inaction. It is one thing to switch on the TV and watch with horror the bushfires raging across Australia or nod in tacit agreement to the speechless of Greta Thunberg and quite another to actually do something about it. When it comes to climate change, actions really do speak louder than words. The good news is that you can take positive action. You can adopt some trees. And it's incredibly easy to do so. So how does it work?

How it works

Be sure to read our terms and condition.

Then when you complete a survey you will be offered a choice of incentives including the option to adopt trees in a CoreData forest. It really is that easy. And you decide how you want to adopt your trees. One option is through TreeTracker - a web-based application enabling you to virtually visit, track and learn more about your trees and the farmers planting them. Other options include registering a tree under an account, naming a tree and downloading a tree certificate.
